Volunteer Project Manager (Crowdfunding Campaigns) – Closes June 21st, 2019 at 12pm
Annex Consulting welcomes opportunities to give back to the community. To that effect, we are working with a non-profit organization in the volunteer sector to recruit a volunteer Project Manager. Annex is helping to provide visibility to this worthwhile organization's search for volunteers on a no-fee basis. We will gather and forward applications directly to this organization.
The Friends of the Learned Shark (Les Amis du Requin Savant) is a non-profit organization aimed at setting up a scholarship program in order to ensure that all committed children have a chance to attend the afterschool activities (French classes and general knowledge classes in French) offered by the Learned Shark.
In order to fulfill its mission, the “Friends of the Learned Shark” has an urgent need to raise funds in order to set up the necessary infrastructures for scholarships. One of the avenues to do so is to set up crowdfunding campaigns. The aim is to create two campaigns, one in French and one in English.
Scope of Work
Working with the Director General, the PM volunteer will identify the best crowdfunding platforms in French and in English for the Learned Shark’s Scholarship project. This will also require writing and editing presentation texts in both French and English, and potentially preparing a short video about the project.
Clara Whyte the Director General will provide a letter of recommendation to the PM volunteer at the successful conclusion of the project and serve as a reference if appropriate.
Start: July 1st, 2019
