Volunteer Project Manager (Five-Year Strategic Plan) – Closes June 24, 2019 at 12pm

Annex Consulting welcomes opportunities to give back to the community. To that effect, we are working with a non-profit organization in the volunteer sector to recruit a volunteer Project Manager. Annex is helping to provide visibility to this worthwhile organization's search for volunteers on a no-fee basis. We will gather and forward applications directly to this organization.
The mission of the Richmond Women Resource Center (RWRC) organization is to empower women one at the time through education and training in a safe and supportive environment. They offer a number of programs as well as a safe and supportive environment for all women, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion, class or ability.
Scope of Work
The volunteer project manager will work with the executive director and the Board members to distill the various views and opinions of how RWRC shall develop into a coherent Strategic Plan, supported, if not by everyone, by a strong majority. This will include fact finding about the current activities and processes, collecting views on how the organization shall develop, analyze the current processes. The path to the Strategic Plan may include brainstorm meetings, working meeting of smaller groups, and one-on-one meetings.
NOTE: Attend meetings with the Board as needed in Richmond – times TBD but will be evenings/weekends
RWRC will provide a letter of recommendation to the PM volunteer at the successful conclusion of the project and serve as a reference if appropriate.
Start: July 1, 2019
Duration: 3.5 months (10-15 hours per month)
