QA Manager/Lead


1 year contract with extensions


The QA Manager/Lead will provide leadership, guidance or input into on all projects within the project with respect to the quality domains of quality assurance, quality control and testing. They will also work with the QA team to effectively create, manage and deliver test case and defect reporting dashboards / metrics; critical to take varying opinions of reporting needs by multiple stakeholders and present a universal program view of all testing activities (to groups like Senior Leadership or Director level discussions) yet at the same time be able to satisfy different reporting needs at the project level (application owner, project managers that have their own needs).


The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:


  • 8+ years cumulative software testing experience (i.e. requirements and test scenario / case creation, test approach and strategy, test execution, test reporting, defect management) leading QA Programs
  • 3+ years of managing a Testing Center of Excellence supporting 20+ concurrent projects at any point in time
  • 5+ years of QA management experience leading a testing team with 10+ dedicated resources, with 20+ non-testing stakeholders in a matrix organization / structure
  • 5+ years of experience with large program implementation supporting multiple testing functions (test execution, data management, environment management, defect tracking and reporting)
  • Experience reporting to senior leadership or board
  • Good experience in large system implementations that cross multiple applications with code and application development, data conversion, multiple API / middle layer considerations, as well as ERP / COT experience will be given preference
  • Experience with multiple requirements / use case tools, test case management tools and defect management tool a must
